Maria Lorge

Maria Lorge is currently a student at New Jersey City University majoring in Business Management. She has been dancing for more than sixteen years, and teaching dance for over three years. Throughout her dance training, Maria competed at dance competitions with the TLC Academy of Dance Competition Team in different locations across the East Coast. She has won numerous awards, including the first overall national soloist award.

Maria has spent time with multiple dance studios including TLC Academy of Dance, The Rock School for Dance Education, and Atlantic City Ballet Theater. She has also participated in performing in musicals including The Music Man, Hairspray, The Wedding Singer, and Footloose. She has been a singer since a young age and has been part of many choirs including the audition-based All State Choir which performed in the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey.

 Besides dancing, Maria has lifelong experience handling children. As the oldest of nine kids, she grew up learning how to take care of and deal with children of all different ages. Maria loves working with children, and is excited to be a part of the Kid Dance Caravan Team!
